Friends
Molly sure has a friend in Jack!
Well, who would not be a friend to a sweet, pretty gal who gives him bacon and eggs daily?
Dumplings
Our first celebration of the Chinese New Year was a dumpling making party at our local Chinese Christian Church! What fun we had. We made dumplings, ate lots of delicious food, played games, listened to music and met so many wonderful friends. It was neat to hear Molly speak Mandarin and laugh along with others! Mei Mei and Molly rock at making dumplings? But me? I overstuffed, understuffed, or did not stick them together well. Maybe by next year I will perfect my skills. But hey, my daily rice and bacon makin' comes out perfect every time!

The Work Begins
Thanksgiving and Christmas have passed and time is whizzing by. As I look back at the things we have accomplished since arriving home in November I am exhausted. But, that is not how I physically feel! Physically and emotionally God has given us the strength and energy to do all we need to for our precious Molly! He has made time in my schedule, opened doors for PT/OT, put people in our path that love our daughter almost as much as we do and has continued to let Molly's light shine!
Here is what we have accomplished so far:
Trip to meet family in NY
Dental work complete
2 orthopedic doctor exams
1 rehab specialist exam
International Adoption Clinic exam done- report in hand
Pediatrician exam- 5 immunizations
IEP in place
2 Physical Therapy Evaluations accomplished
3 Occupational Therapy Evaluations accomplished
school full time (as of last Thursday)
2 birthday celebrations
We now have one more Dr. appointment at Cincinnati Children's before all doctor reports come together and they determine diagnosis, treatment and needs of our sweet gal!
More of what we have learned in another post! Praising God he has put Molly in our life!
Molly at Adaptive PE in School. She loved 'riding'!

Butter Beer
Our wonderful neighbors heard the rumor that Molly loves Harry Potter. So? Last Friday night they paid us a visit. They came bearing a big bag full of treats. A Harry Potter Chocolate Wand, a chocolate frog with a Dumbledore wizard's card ("The Best", according to Molly), and Fizzing Whizbees.
But, best of all, they made Butter Beer for us. We got to watch it fizz and foam and then enjoy it together. It was DELICIOUS! and of course, Butter Beer and Fizzing Whizbees are delightful together, as a matter of fact I considered calling it a night and having Whizbees and Beer for dinner! But, my common sense overtook my taste buds and I managed to throw a quick dinner together before heading off to watch 2 basketball games with Molly.
Thank you Honeydukes Candy Shop and our SWEET friends for thinking of our gal on your vacation!
