The Work Begins

Thanksgiving and Christmas have passed and time is whizzing by. As I look back at the things we have accomplished since arriving home in November I am exhausted. But, that is not how I physically feel! Physically and emotionally God has given us the strength and energy to do all we need to for our precious Molly! He has made time in my schedule, opened doors for PT/OT, put people in our path that love our daughter almost as much as we do and has continued to let Molly's light shine!
Here is what we have accomplished so far:

Trip to meet family in NY
Dental work complete
2 orthopedic doctor exams
1 rehab specialist exam
International Adoption Clinic exam done- report in hand
Pediatrician exam- 5 immunizations
IEP in place
2 Physical Therapy Evaluations accomplished
3 Occupational Therapy Evaluations accomplished
school full time (as of last Thursday)
2 birthday celebrations

We now have one more Dr. appointment at Cincinnati Children's before all doctor reports come together and they determine diagnosis, treatment and needs of our sweet gal!

More of what we have learned in another post! Praising God he has put Molly in our life!

  1. Oh gosh, she is positively ADORABLE. After all that she's had to go through lately and still has that gorgeous smile on her face. I so love that sweet girl.
Sending big hugs to you, my friend. You are doing one heck of a job managing it all :)

  3. I am so interested to hear if her diagnoses are what you expected. I am about to dive into the river of doctors' appointments and surgeries too. We leave March 14th for China!

  4. LOVE the JOY she radiates!!! So happy that God is giving you the energy and strength to be everything she needs! My 18 yr. old from China has decided that she is majoring in Occupational Therapy! We have orthopedic issues in our family. She has seen a lot of needs and always helps. She will be a great O.T.!
